Well, yet another new year in the same old dorm. Oh, what am I saying? I'm getting all down (or "emo" as you kids are calling it these days) and I really have no reason to be. There are so many new people in the Me Memorial dorm this year. I still have a few of my old favorites around, though. I would like to say hello to Miss Toni Washington, Miss Crystal Shields, and Miss Adrienne Johnston. I'm so happy to see you all still with me this year. I do apologize for my long absence, but I hadn't seen my dear, sweet husband in a good 15 years, so I figured it was high time I got myself down to Texas to see Otie. I took a year or so off (when you're dead, what does time matter anyway?), but now I am back and settled in again. It's good to see all of you, and I hope to be watching you all more while you sleep. So yes, while I am glad to be back in Michigan, especially with all this nice weather lately, I do miss my Otie baby. It breaks my heart when I have to leave him, despite that whole "marrying Irene" thing after I died. Ah, well. Forgive and forget... or just forgive.

I'm really enjoying watching the new freshmen and other newcomers to the ol' dorm. Some of them even talk to me in their sleep. Sometimes being a ghost is fun. There are even girls in my room with me. It's been fun so far, and will be even more fun come Halloween. Well, there's not much else happening here, so I'm off to cause some trouble. Happy Haunting, and Wooooooo to you!

School has officially started and people are once again living in the Me Memorial Dorm. It's a little louder than normal in my lobby this year due to most of the residents being Freshmen. Well, it gives me a new generation to haunt. Last night a freezer on first floor got unplugged and it smelled like rotting meat. I haven't smelled that smell since I died, and frankly, it don't smell too good.

Students are once again filling all three floors of my dorm. It's good to have girls up here with me again. I was getting lonely up here by myself. There are actually girls living in my old room! This will be great fun! Just recently I tossed some toilet paper on one of the girls on 2nd floor. It was really funny. I have to go cause more trouble around here now. Haunt you all later, and have a spooky year!

This year they're letting boys live on the first floor of the Me Memorial Dorm again. This means I get to watch the guys sleep too. This is going to be fun. Some of them have heard about me, but none have ever had the pleasure of an Alma haunting. This is going to be so much fun!

To all my girls, I miss you all very much and can't wait until you return so we can catch up on the summer, or so I can haunt your rooms. I love you all!

More people are back in the dorms! It's just a couple, but that means more people to haunt or watch sleep, which I have to say is my favorite past-time. You may ask be asking, "Alma, how was your Fourth of July?" Well, I'll tell you. It was magical. I always love the celebration of the birth of our Nation. America the Beautiful is one of my favorite Patriotic songs. It gets to me everytime. The fireworks around here were wonderful all week, and since I'm a ghost, I don't have to worry about traffic after the fireworks are done. My beau and I went to several displays in the area. There must have been a different celebration each night! All the colors are wonderful and the weather was great! Time to go bug the workers on the second floor of the Me Memorial Dorm.

Boooooo!
